About Qordway

A QR code generator that runs in your browser, gives you the file without watermarking it, and tells you the truth about when you don't need to pay us.

What Qordway does

Pick what you want the code to do — open a link, join a Wi-Fi network, save a contact, start an email, dial a number, drop a map pin, add a calendar event — fill in the fields, and download it. There are ten code types, and every one of them works without an account.

You can style the code to match your brand: colours, dot and corner shapes, background roundness, and a logo in the middle. The generator warns you when a choice is likely to stop the code scanning — insufficient contrast, or a logo covering too much of the pattern — because a QR code that looks good and doesn't scan is worse than a plain one that does.

Downloads come in six formats: PNG, JPG, GIF, SVG, PDF and EPS. The last three are true vector, which is what a print shop or a designer will actually ask you for, and which most free generators don't offer.

No watermark. On any plan.

Nothing you download from here carries our name, including on the free plan and including when you're not signed in. The file is full resolution, in every format, and it's yours to use commercially — on products you sell, with no attribution required.

Several generators add a watermark to free downloads and then charge to remove the restriction they invented. We think that's a paywall around arithmetic. Generating a QR code is a computation that finishes in milliseconds on your own device; there's no infrastructure to fund, so there's nothing to charge for.

Built to run entirely in your browser

Every QR code is generated client-side, on your own device. Nothing you type is sent to, processed by, or stored on our servers unless you're signed in and choose to save it. There's no backend involved in creating the code itself, and nothing about it is logged.

That's not a policy promise we're asking you to take on trust — it's how the thing is built. Open your browser's network tab while you generate a code and you'll see nothing leave the page. The privacy policy has the full detail on what we do store once you have an account.

What an account adds

Signing up is free and gets you a library of up to 25 saved codes, plus two dynamic QR codes — codes whose destination you can change after they're printed, with scan analytics behind them. The free plan is supported by advertising; paid plans aren't.

Paid plans raise those limits, add gradient styling and API access, and — on the Business plan — a shared team library with roles and a review workflow. The pricing page lays out exactly what sits where.

We'd rather you didn't overpay

A static QR code contains your data directly. It works forever, depends on nobody, and costs nothing — if we disappeared tomorrow, every static code you've made here would keep working. Most people printing a Wi-Fi code by the guest room door or a vCard on a business card need exactly that and nothing more.

Dynamic codes are worth paying for when the destination might change after printing, or when you need to know whether anyone is scanning. That's a real service with real ongoing cost. Everything else is arithmetic.

We've written that argument out properly, including the parts that cut against us, in free versus paid QR code generators. It's part of a reference library covering how QR codes work, how to design ones that scan, and where they're worth using — built because most of what's written about QR codes online is thin and much of it is wrong.

Part of the LVSoftworks family

Qordway is built and maintained by LVSoftworks, an independent software studio. It's one of a small family of focused, single-purpose tools we build and keep running — each with its own identity, but the same standard behind it.
